Friendship was one of my first works and even though it has not been published like some of my bigger names it is still one of my favorite poems and would make a beautiful gift for any lover of poetry. Written by Darryn John Murphy.

Poetic Verse

Like beacons in the darkness
We must all stand alone
Waiting for the sunrise
As we make the path way home
The dawning of a new day
Brings a new era in our lives
And this is where I come to you
As friends upon the path of life
Our lives may twist and turn
Although we may separate
From time to time
You are never far from my heart
Friendship, So sweet
So innocent, So pure
All because of you
